Biggest Little Zine Fair
BLZF is a pop-up all-ages zine market where artists submit their work to be showcased and sold— no need to be there in person! Our small team of organizers runs the event, handling everything from setup to sales, and all proceeds (after credit card fees) go directly to the makers. Beyond the market, we also host free workshops and community events celebrating zine culture, fostering creativity, and bringing zinemakers together.BLZF celebrates unique, handmade zines that uplift diverse voices, social justice, local creators, niche interests, and DIY culture. We do not accept zines that promote hate, oppression, or discrimination. Our goal is to make publishing and selling easy, no matter your experience level.

FAQ
Do I have to be at the fair to submit my zines?
Nope! We'd love to see you there, but you don't have to be present.
How many zines can I submit?
Only 3! We are trying to fit as many makers as possible.
Can people outside Long Beach join?
Yes! Anyone can participate—you just need to get your zines to us.
When do applications close?
Saturday, March 29th! We'll remind you on Instagram.
Do I submit an application for each individual zine title?
Yep! That's exactly right.
What should the picture be of?
Ideally, the cover! We use pay stations where attending folks can look you up in a digital catalog and pay right from their phone. Sometimes, we do online fairs. The picture helps for both, but don't overthink it! Anything is better than nothing. :)
Can I submit the same zine titles I sent in before?
You definitely can!
When will I know if my zines will be included?
We review submissions as they come in. You'll be notified by April 5th.
Can I mail my zines?
Yes! But we can't mail anything back. If you can't pick them up, they'll go to a zine library.
When are drop offs?
April 12th - 26th. All instructions will be included in your acceptance email!
